Robert Masten, Esq. founded the firm in June 2011 and practices in the areas social security disability and consumer bankruptcy. He is licensed to practice law before the Supreme Court of Delaware and the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. Robert has experience helping people appeal Social Security application denials to an administrative law judge, and helping consumers through all aspects of the Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy process. Before founding the firm, Robert was an associate at Cross & Simon, LLC from 2008 - 2009, specializing in civil, commercial and corporate litigation and corporate bankruptcies. Later, Robert worked for a small Delaware firm representing home owners during real estate closings. Also, Robert was the managing attorney for the Delaware office of a multi-state consumer bankruptcy firm.
Prior to private practice, Robert received his Law Degree from Widener University School of Law, cum laude. While attending law school, Robert was a senior member of the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law. Robert was a judicial extern for the Honorable Donald F. Parsons, Jr., Vice Chancellor of the Delaware Court of Chancery and also for the Honorable Jan R. Jurden, Judge (now President Judge) for the Superior Court of Delaware.
